Finca SA GRAN is finely decorated in many details and can accommodate four guests. The interior is furnished with natural materials, lots of crafted decorations, and it has high rising ceilings. Your finca is located near the town of Algaida, which is famous for its glassblowers and leather craft shops, and near the monastery hill Puig de Randa. The town center with restaurants and shops is only 600m away.
The dining area is the heartpiece of your finca; from here you can reach the terrace, the living area, the bedrooms, and the kitchen. The dining table (natural wood) with beautiful chairs is under a sort of giant deduction (the fireplace is here, too), so the area feels comfortable despite the openness of the room. Numerous paintings, vases and other works of art spread an authentic atmosphere. The living area is entered through a stone-covered passageway and is entirely made of wood (on the ceiling) and natural stone (walls); it has white seating (folding sofa, two armchairs); TV... read more (SAT TV) and air conditioning are also available. A large arched window offers views of the garden, Majorcan-inspired paintings can be found on the walls.
The kitchen is particularly cozy with its golden yellow and dark green tiles at the walls and the lamella cabinets made of dark wood; through a stone archway you reach the living room and, right behind it, the dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, gas stove and oven, microwave, toaster, coffee machine (Nespresso), and kettle. A washing machine and an ironing set are available, too.
You have two bedrooms to choose from, each with TV, air conditioning and the typical built-in wardrobes made of dark wood. One room has a double bed (190x150cm), the other has two single beds (190x90cm). The two modern bathrooms are ensuite to the bedrooms and each have a shower; one is decorated with blue and white tiles, the other one with dark blue ones – it also has great natural stone walls.
In the outside area of your finca, you will love the large pool; it is surrounded by an even larger terrace with deckchairs, around the terrace, a well-kept lawn is planted. Parasols and a barbecue house complete the facilities. Another terrace at the house provides space for a small dining table with blue chairs. Tendrils grow partly over the terrace to the house, so that the place reminds of an arbor.
WI-FI is of course available everywhere; unfortunately your dog can not come along; in the finca SA GRAN smoking is not permitted.Licence number: ETV/3083Algaida (Arabic: "The Forest"), located between Palma and Manacor, is known for the mountain Puig de Randa, on which there are three monastic shrines. Not far from the restaurants, the Gordiola glassworks and museum as well as the leather goods "temple" of Alorda are located in two castle-like buildings. Other attractions in Algaida are the road crosses and many old windmills which are typical of Majorca. The pilgrimage chapel of the Mare de Deu de la Pau de Castellitx is also a popular destination.
