Licence number: VT/1292The small fishing village of Portocolom blossoms every summer. Few tourists cavort here, so you can still experience a typical fishing village here. On the long wharf of the village, next to the fishing boats, you can find sports boats and you can book trips on the water. For sunbathers the beach Cala Marcal is nearby, which has been awarded the blue flag. This means that the quality of the water is particularly high.
The place was named after Christopher Columbus, who was supposedly born here - but there is no clear evidence.
Enjoy small restaurants and hotel bars here. For more shopping and life, the environment of the southeast offers.
In the southeast of Mallorca you will also find beautiful coves and beaches on the east coast, to the beach of Es Trenc near Colonia de Sant Jordi, with its turquoise waters and fine sandy beach.
