Licence number: ET/2818Deia is a small town near the northwest coast of the Balearic island of Mallorca. The town is located on a hill on the edge of the Tramuntana mountains on the Puig de Teix, which has a height of 1064 m.
The mountain village Deia is also referred to as artist village and is located in one idyllic landscape of holm oaks, olive trees, torrents and the coast.
Culturally Deia has a lot to offer: the Archaeological Museum, the Son Marroig - Estate of Archduke Ludwig Salvator of Austria, the museum of the author Robert von Ranke-Graves, who lived here in the 1930s.
